Eeek – we are heading off to Houston tomorrow morning for a 9 day trip to the US. All built around the main purpose of (hopefully!!!!) seeing Billy Joel in concert there this Friday eve. I'm still somewhat bricking it that he will get Covid, or lose his voice or something else disastrous, but with 3 days to go, it's still on – so here we come!
We drive on from there to New Orleans for a few nights as well – it's going to be hot, hot, hot and sweaty, sweaty, sweaty! More humid than a humid thing, but lots of nice things planned, so fingers crossed for a smooth ride..
Jules & Nicky are very kindly living at Dora and looking after the furry girls while we are away – I wonder if Maddie will miss us? Our first time apart, I secretly hope she does, just a liiiiiiiittle bit
