Fuck a duck – some random postie has just rung the bell and handed over 5 of my missing birthday cards. 9 DAYS LATE!!!!!!
I'm pretty sure none of the kind friends who sent them would have all magically posted them this late, so that's bloody Royal Mail being as crap as they often are round here. Even by their rather low standard that really is pretty rubbish..
Still, at least I obviously haven't mortally offended the 5 senders, and I might now have to keep my cards up for another week to make the most of adding these to the (previously a bit on the thin side) pile.
Wonder if there are any more out there??? Perhaps I'll keep them for 2023, at least they will be early then… x
