Introduction

Well, if anyone had said to me 2 months ago that I'd a) be writing a Blog or b) be filling it with lots of stuff about the joyious subject of Myeloma (and yes, I strill just typed 'melanoma, which shows how well this has sunk in still, not!) I'd have thought they were barking. Or I was. Or we all were. But apparently a lot can change in a shortish space of time, so here we go.

By popular demand, this is going to be a bit of a mish mash of a blog I think – firstly a way for me to piing out an update for all of you who are so kindly asking for my latest news on this bloody Myeloma thing that's happened to me, as well as hopefully a chance to bung in somemore cheery stuff on our new kittens (Conker & Mojo, lovely!), my 40th birthday present to myself hotwheels (Voodoo, my new whizzy black Saab 9-3) and anything else that's going on in the world of Scotty, Hawksey and our mates.

I'm stopping now as want to be sure this actually works – yes, its taken this dinosaur a week to pluck up the courage to even get this far, so want to be sure i am uploading or downloading correctly before I venture any further. Well, I am 40 in two days time – you've got to give me a chance! And where is the spellchecker on this beast??! Back soon…. S x
