As I'm the Blog Mistress I never have to add a Comment to my own Blog – but have decided that looking at the number of you lovely people that mail me on my work address instead of leaving Comments directly on the blog that:
i) It must be really hard to leave them on the blog
ii) You are all technically challenged and even more dinosaur-like than me (I quite like this option) so even though its actually quite easy, you prefer to email my work address
iii) You like to read things, but not reply…
And I have to say – I'm well chuffed with how many of you have been reading the Blog. Being a newbie at this I have no idea what 'good' stats actually are (and I don't need anyone to disillusion me if these are actually crap and I have no mates) but I just found a button on the Blog that gives you stats on how many people have been tuning in. It may have taken me 7 months to spot it, but hey, who's counting??!
And the scores on the doors are:
– Lifetime views: 3,062 – yes, more than 3000 hits on the Blog since I started it last Sept/Oct! Ooh, I feel like Britney Spears… without the drug addiction and multiple strangely-named offspring, that is, nor probably the thighs you can still get two hands round
– Average per day: 17.6 views – just goes to show how quickly you can snarf your way through the latest Blog update and still get back to work without the person next to you spotting that you're skiving.
So now all you have to do is pull your combined fingers out and leave me a comment each time you drop in, so I know you're still out there! Then I can spend all day surfing my Blog, feeling like a pampered princess (or more realistically, reeling from the heinous entertaining insults thrown at me).
