Poo…. final couple of days before the dust billows, the walls come tumbling down, the kettle takes a 20-boils-a-day battering and the inevitable skidmarks attach themselves inexorably to the inside of the downstairs toilet on a daily joyous, builders-bum basis. Yes the kitchen extension start is just 36 hours away…
We have a shower curtain covering the front windows, all our stuff upstairs and Mojo still happily doing her cat thing in her poo box whether the cat flap is open or not, thoroughly enjoying the benefits of having her very own en suite feline bathroom.
Am taking a deep breath, hoping it won't work out as poor Lee from work's build has (builders done such a shocking job that their house was nearly condemned, they and baby have had to move out for months and you can put your fist through the cracks in the walls….eeeeeek).
Bookings are now open for December drinks in our new big space – and in the meantime, any offers of dust-free low fat dinners over the next 3 months will be enormously welcome!
