Well done Curly in managing to pull together a slightly impromptu meet up for a bunch of the ex-AV girls last Friday.
Recreating the cocktails and meal soiree we had 7 years ago, none of us quite believing how much time had elapsed since the last one.
And of course, all raising a mental glass to our one missing friend, lovely Louize Gibson, who very, very sadly is no longer with us.
Prize of the night went to Sarah Hutton who drove an hour from the Yorkshire sticks to Leeds and took the train down to meet us for a whole three hours – before heading back up again after dinner! Something to do with just being back from hols and having a date with a parent the next day- but still, she made it!
It did mean all we South Londoners were up in Kings Cross for the night, but the restaurant was good (if noisy for the old lugs) and as always it was fab to see the old gang. You can never get everyone together as there were a lot fo us but 9 was no mean feat!
Fi stayed over chez Dora for the night, much to Maddie's great delight. There's nothing like some over-enthusiastic dog snogging to kick off your Sat morning … x
