Bloody Amazing, the Power of Just Giving

Wow. Have just nipped online mid-workshop to see how the Just Giving site set up by the magic 9 doing the Three Peaks Chalolenge in aid of Myeloma – and me – is going.

86 donations so far, already busted the first target of £5k and now steaming merrily towards the revised target of £7,500.

But what's been just amazing for mne, have been the written comments, both on the site and as emails directly to me. Claire White, I've just read yours and tears have welled up in my eyes, as I stand here in an Amsterdam workshop venue surrounded by beer clients. I feel likewise about you too.

Also the stunning comment from Craig Le Grice – a chap I have met once, at a P&G workshop a month or so ago, and who has a) somehow got the email, from a kind soul who's forwarded it on, b) bothered to read it, c) pulled his finger out to donate and d) written the kindest, sweetest comment to go with it. All that from someone who was a stranger but a month ago.

And one from a chap I also know less than fully, having met this time through Puritans hockey. The third Adam in the team, he's known as Twinkle. I've toured with him once or twice, once a year, that's all. And he's donated, with a really lovely note to me. What brilliant people.

I am awed by people's kindness and love.

If by some miracle I've not sent you the original email, check this out. Really humbling for me.
