Brand Mojo Day One

So, here I am, bright and breezy, sitting at the desk in the office which was magically unearthed after many dusty hours of digging underneath all Hawksey's stuff that had accumulated in here over the last 5 years. Let's hope some of that unopened post we found wasn't actually that urgent hey?

Anyway, the room is now all Pledged and shiny, and has me sitting in my office chair (one I bought from AV so weirdly familiar in its turquoise padded-ness), transferring favourite websites from my AV laptop to my home one and wondering how long it will take me to order an office blind – for once the sun is actually shining, right into my eyes.

Today is officially Day One of my new business (ok, slightly grand title for the new venture but I guess it is registered at Companies House so technically exists).

Brandmojo is born.

Logo/biz cards design is now in its 4th stage of development (here's hoping the last).

I am finally about to read the two monster packs of info from the accountant (not my favourite pasttime) which have been beckoning me for 4 weeks.

My new I-phone is due to arrive later so I can transfer my old AV mobile number across to it (anticipating a break in service at some point, probably when Liz T is trying to get hold of me as we're going to Strictly come dancing tonight).

And am wondering how I am going to sort out cover for Mum without being driven potty by her (lovely but still ever present) carer Silvya several times a day now that I am home more often.

Have plugged a phone in, and now sitting waiting for it to ring (suspect that may be some time, perhaps I am meant to actually tell clients that I am open for business? Ah yes, that might be the step I haven't yet got sorted).

And am off to the gym at 10.30am. The first day, and the first good intention in place.

Onwards and upwards. Anyone need a facilitator / brandie / quallie / lunchmate???
