So – had a rather successful introduction of younger godson, Oliver to mad dogbeast yesterday in the park. Oliver and his twin little sisters Abbie and Emma, all donned their mini wellies and came out with Mum, Dad and 3 scooters and various helmets for protection for a park walk with us and the four legged canine whirlwind.
Amazing how positively distracting a ball and an orange 'wangy' device can be – had all of them clamouring to have a go, and Oliver mastered it particularly well – not bad for a 6 year old. Lots of wanging and not a wayward thump in the face for anyone, perfect.
Followed by a spanking sunday afternoon roast chez White – you can't say fairer than that, lovely.
Having had Helen Vickery's two little girls to stay last week and this park walk yesterday I seem to be picking up Hatch's two boys Jack and Toby from school next week while Hatch is pretending to do some work and topped off by Cathy and the clog girls arriving this Sunday. Thank god we're off on hols next Tues… no kids onboard in the BVIs! x
