I know, you're probably checking your calendar, as yes, this is a trip I have done every year for ages – but always in July. Till now, the timing has been fully driven by Janine's CEO responsibilities at Added Value and having to find the tiny July gap within the never-ending Quartely budgeting and forecasting slog that used to be her gig.
Not any more!
Hence we are off tomorrow, for 4 nights at The Anglers in Miami Beach then on to the Turks & Caicos. Trying out the new Gansevoort there, and for some weird reason I even seem to have packed my gym kit. Wonder if that'll be coming back in the 'still clean' pile in 8 days time..?
Also trying not to be jealous that as bloody usual I think the UK forecast is looking very good for while we're away – at least our 2 destinations are too so I guess that's fair do's all round.
So – will be 'off blog' till the Bank Holiday weekend.
