I've just this morning handed Lottie the golden doodle back to her daddy Mark, after a week's stay chez Dora.<\/p>\n

A lot of doggy madness therefore this week, as the 'ginger ninja' is fast enough to keep pace with Mad Maddie and stayed pretty much glued to her side as they belted up and down the Common. Here, a brief moment of calm before they were off again.<\/p>\n

Lottie has also been utterly mesmerised by Mojo – poor Mojo – spending vast swathes of time just staring at her and wondering what exactly this small furry thing actually is. In between literally walking all over me – both of them at times using me as their personal footpath…<\/p>\n

Mads has been making the most of getting filthy in every autumnal puddle possible – ah the joys of the wet season – while Lottie, a more delicate soul, bonded with her ginger companion on the sofa.. It's been v nice to have Cathy here for company while Mr H has buggered off for a month – yes, a whole month! <\/p>\n

Still on the animal theme, I did manage to nip out for one eve to the Ocean Film Festival with Fiona McA – a good selection of underwatery films, one of my annual treats. And much easier going to see it in Guildford this time, rather than the usual trek up to the Union Chapel in Islington.<\/p>\n

Lottie has now gone – am enjoying a brief moment of calm before Miss Flossy the labradoodle returns for a stay while the Capons are off to the World Cup en France again. These daffy doodles…<\/p>\n
