{"id":948,"date":"2015-05-21T13:02:05","date_gmt":"2015-05-21T13:02:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/aces-hockey-birds-on-tour\/"},"modified":"2015-05-21T13:02:05","modified_gmt":"2015-05-21T13:02:05","slug":"aces-hockey-birds-on-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/home\/aces-hockey-birds-on-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Aces Hockey Birds on Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Did we manage to get our act together to book an overseas hockey tour?<\/p>\n<p>Did we kiss ass and find ourselves at one of the big UK tours instead?<\/p>\n<p>Did we bollocks &#8211; which is why we just about managed to get 16 of us to a one night tour in Chichester instead!<\/p>\n<p>One of our former players now lives there, so we scooted off in the glorious Mid May sun (bloody lucky as I&#39;d bought the team pink and blue Aces-coloured sunglasses to wear all weekend) for a one-game-only-thank-god-as-we&#39;re-quite-old mini tour. (My neck and back were gypping me, which is why I wasn&#39;t playing and am sporting an overly-warm Aces fleece..)<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"http:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b01b8d117af16970c-pi\" style=\"float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"P1160276\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a0105359a4116970b01b8d117af16970c img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b01b8d117af16970c-500wi\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;\" title=\"P1160276\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, the bright day descended into evil darkness as we had Pimms and Gin-fuelled teas (beats a cup of tea any day) and then headed off to one of the Chichester players&#39; pubs to drink her bar dry. Oh, and ingest an obscene number of shots in innocuous little coloured plastic glasses&#8230;.
