{"id":940,"date":"2015-07-07T12:31:58","date_gmt":"2015-07-07T12:31:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/wrist-out-of-action\/"},"modified":"2015-07-07T12:31:58","modified_gmt":"2015-07-07T12:31:58","slug":"wrist-out-of-action","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/home\/wrist-out-of-action\/","title":{"rendered":"Wrist out of action"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Arse &#8211; I now seem to have carpal tunnel syndrome as well as a list of shoulder, back and neck issues &#8211; seems my above the waist joined regions could be doing better!<\/p>\n<p>Had surgery on my right wrist last week to try and sort the fact that I have limited feeling in the three central fingers and thumb of my right hand, and haven&#39;t been &#39;right&#39; for 6 weeks now. So far, no bloody improvement so hoping it will kick in over time.<\/p>\n<p>Have managed to loosely hold a hairdryer this morning which is major progress from not even being able to pull the fridge open last week, or pull my own pants up &#8211; now that is hard to do one-handed, just try it.<\/p>\n<p>Onwards and upwards &#8211; steeling myself to it happening to my left hand at some point as apparently this is a weird syndrome that almost always happens to both wrists if one goes.
