(Or &#39;Billy Idol&#39; as the stadium announcer managed to somehow say.. Now that would have been disappointing)..<\/p>\n<p>All got totally soaked at 6pm as we hunted for some source of pre-show dinner &#8211; ended up in a dodgy kebab house in Wembley, but at least I&#39;ve avoided any further food poisoning (since my run in with my first much-looked-forward-to-KFC in about 2 years &#8211; when I got 5 days of the trots as a result!)<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"http:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b01b8d21bd7aa970c-pi\" style=\"float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"IMG_3326\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a0105359a4116970b01b8d21bd7aa970c img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b01b8d21bd7aa970c-500wi\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;\" title=\"IMG_3326\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>Anyway &#8211; Billy, despite being 67, and supping a very rock and roll cup of tea as he played his piano, can still knock out 2.5 hours of songs after songs, and many of the old faves (&#39;here&#39;s one from my album in 1974&#39; &#8211; how old does that make us and him feel??) were duly ticked off.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"http:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b01bb093590b8970d-pi\" style=\"float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"IMG_3327\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a0105359a4116970b01bb093590b8970d img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b01bb093590b8970d-500wi\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;\" title=\"IMG_3327\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>Big happy sighs x<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fab Sat night out at Wembley Stadium with Janine, Clare G, her daughter Floss, Jane &amp; Jon and Paul Taylor &#8211; seeing my much loved first musical hero, Billy Joel.
