Well, we've got as far as Thursday daytime and so far no issues – I think Mr H & I may indeed be heading off this Saturday at gnat's crack on our first holiday away together in 2016 – and boy do we deserve some time off for good behaviour.<\/p>\n
We've got 2 nights in some swanky Relais & Chateau property on the west of Malta when we arrive, then head over to little Gozo to our AirBnB "house of character' (eclectic dive? nice property? fun little place with pool?) for 5 nights. Where we will then be joined for 2 nights by David & Mandy, our spaniel-owning chums from Harrogate, who totally coincidentally happen to be on Malta at the same time as us so are coming to stay. And then back to Valletta the capital for 2 nights in Casa Ellul, a small boutique property that looks equally lovely.<\/p>\n
So, will be off Typepad for 9 days or so – and hopefully back in good health, with a bit of a tan and having found plenty of pretty fish around the Gozo coastline – am packing fins, masks, rash vest and various snorkelling gubbins that takes up half the suitcase, so here's hoping the underwater world is good there.<\/p>\n
Fingers crossed the UK Indian summer is still in full swing when we get back on the 26th. Keep shining, my sun x x x<\/p>\n
