Very nice day Thurs (well, once the 2 hour irritating wait at Parkside for my 20 second Velcade injection was over – that was as grrrrrrr as ever).<\/p>\n
Picked up oldest chum Claire White from Epsom and drove down to Brighton. Very nice cheeky Thai lunch at the cutely named Giggling Squid, with a friendly sweet waiter chappie, seemingly delighted to deliver the various mini thai tapas bits to our table. Then a waft and a wander around Brighton – only came back with M&S nibbles and some birthday cards and wrap as we are now – horror of horrors – into the season of long sleeved clothes, so clearly I can't buy a damn thing, being the overly hot monster that I always am.<\/p>\n
Then back to Janine & Ross's cottage, kindly vacated so we could have it for the night. A spot of lounging and afternoon game shows – ah always a luxury when you don't ever sit down at that time of day – then into some celebratory champers, crisps, a G&T and off to the local White Lion pub for what was actually a very good supper. I was feeling slightly dodgy (Mojo had me up at midnight, 2am and 4am as she crapped her brains out the night before with a bug, including one particularly spectacular mega sloppy shit into Hawksey's sports bag, all over his tracksuit, belt, umpiring gubbins etc, and another one also under our bed which just reeked of acrid evilness, so mummy had no choice but to get up and deal with it all.) – but it was still a good night, a chance to catch up properly with no distractions and I still managed to get Claire back home on Fri in time to see the kids and do the school run… (lucky her!)<\/p>\n
