Am very, very thirsty but struggling to get anything in &#8211; am building up to trying a milky drink shortly. Even if I put the straw half way down my mouth to miss some of the painful areas it&#39;s still pretty grim. All squash off limits now.<\/p>\n<p>On the upside, have lost a stone in weight. Much needed, although this is possibly not the best way to go about it.<\/p>\n<p>Fitz popped round before hockey to spread a little happiness. My mouth just a dry cesspit, so lots of one way stories which helps a lot.<\/p>\n<p>And then an afternoon post hockey pop in from Vicki. Watched a bit of the rugby with us, both she and H on Peroni, me trying to suck back strawberry milk. Tried a single, mashed up dim sum. No, that definitely wasn&#39;t happening.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, a quiet day. Am very much hoping that the all important antibiotic that I had mixed into a petit filou first thing, will start to kick in tomorrow with any luck. Once the mouth behaves, the rest of this will happen more quickly, but if I can&#39;t eat and can barely drink then recovery will be much slower.
