Brace yourselves for this one, dear readers…..<\/p>\n
Imagine the scene:<\/p>\n
Just this very morning.<\/p>\n
Me, having arranged a long overdue visit for a Mum and I to go see my 96 year old Aunt Ellen.<\/p>\n
Who is therefore Mum\u2019s sister in law.<\/p>\n
And who, unfortunately, lives bloody miles away in Loughton, Essex.<\/p>\n
So, there we were.<\/p>\n
Driving in shag awful traffic to try and get there for 10.30am coffee<\/p>\n
Knocking off all the London landmarks one by one at a snail\u2019s pace – the Shard, Tower Bridge, Blackwell Tunnel, Limehouse Link, etc etc.<\/p>\n
Mum, snugly secured in my passenger seat.<\/p>\n
And me, chatting away at her, in the vain hope of stimulating some conversation.<\/p>\n
Until, at last, we were finally in Loughton High Street.<\/p>\n
\u2018Only 5 minutes to go, Mum\u2019 blathered I.<\/p>\n
Not much response.<\/p>\n
So I carried on. \u2018I\u2019m glad we\u2019re almost there. That\u2019s taken ages. I could do with a wee\u2019.<\/p>\n
At which, Mum perked up hugely and turned to me, beaming away, as she replied:<\/p>\n
\u2018I\u2019M HAVING ONE NOW\u2019!!!!<\/p>\n
Man alive, that\u2019s just what you want to hear, from the person sitting, fully clothed, right next to you.<\/p>\n
Lucky, lucky, lucky me, I thought, as I mentally reached for the Dettol Spray x <\/p>\n
