So, we\u2019ve been toying with the idea of moving house for a few years now but it\u2019s been a bit stop-start due to my health stuff and the difficulty in finding the right house for us. Not least because I\u2019ve been in Stroud Rd for not far off 25 years now – good grief – and it\u2019s quite weird to think about moving.<\/p>\n
We almost made an offer on a house a month ago but couldn\u2019t quite get our heads round it\u2019s not-brilliant location. And then we saw another one for the second time this Friday. In the nicer bit of Wimbledon Park, closer to the little parade of shops that we like and bigger than our house now. Many very good things about it, some work needed (new kitchen etc) but had much potential.<\/p>\n
We put an offer in yesterday at the asking price and are waiting to hear.<\/p>\n
Which means that tonight will be spent de-cluttering ours and storing some of Mums remaining stuff in Claire & Jon\u2019s garage so we can get the sales photos taken this Tues and get our house properly on the market.
