For those of you without dogs, 'hoomans' are … well, us. Doggy mums and dads, apparently in 'dog speak'. Yes, life has got this tragic. Must be the impending large coming of age..<\/p>\n

Anyway – our weekend was pretty good too. <\/p>\n

Little Thumper the boat did us proud again, in the perfect weather for a day out on the water. Though of course the factor 30 was nowhere near strong enough and I ended up like a beetroot by 5pm.<\/p>\n

Flossy was a tad unimpressed but at least was very well behaved unlike little miss over-excited spaniel. Ross and I spent the entire trip at the back of the boat with our fishing rods out – 5 hours later, not a bloody poisson to be seen. The boat bloke did at least slightly console us with his explanation that 'there's a group of 40 seals on the harbour and they've pretty much eaten the lot'. Great. Didn't even see a seal head!<\/p>\n
