After 40 or so years the club (well, the one team that we&#39;ve managed to field by hook or by crook over all these years) has finally closed its doors (not that we really had any, as we were a homeless roving Club!)<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b02e860f0faa5200d-pi\" style=\"float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"48B1E1F2-A715-436E-B232-4347D03D429F_4_5005_c\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a0105359a4116970b02e860f0faa5200d img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b02e860f0faa5200d-320wi\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;\" title=\"48B1E1F2-A715-436E-B232-4347D03D429F_4_5005_c\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>About 35 of old Aces &#8211; some older than others &#8211; rolled out to 22 Dora for the final hurrah, a party to spend the last coins in the Aces coffers. Always fab to see some old chums &#8211; dressed in our Aces colours of pink &amp; blue &#8211; and to put a few faces to names of those who were in Aces folklore before my time.
