And to lovely Ernie Hoole who couldn\u2019t come but sent a \u00a35 cheque for the charity of my choice, god bless him for his kindness. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 21px; line-height: normal; font-family: &#39;.SF UI Display&#39;; color: #454545; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;\">&#0160;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 21px; line-height: normal; font-family: &#39;.SF UI Display&#39;; color: #454545; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-family: &#39;.SFUIDisplay&#39;; font-size: 15pt;\">Huge thanks to my chums who sent messages, and those who rolled out on a drizzly day to offer their support in person &#8211; I can\u2019t tell you how much that meant to me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 21px; line-height: normal; font-family: &#39;.SF UI Display&#39;; color: #454545; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;\">&#0160;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 21px; line-height: normal; font-family: &#39;.SF UI Display&#39;; color: #454545; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-family: &#39;.SFUIDisplay&#39;; font-size: 15pt;\">And to Vicki and Tina for collecting and setting out the tea, so H and I could speak to those who came.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 21px; line-height: normal; font-family: &#39;.SF UI Display&#39;; color: #454545; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;\">&#0160;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin: 0px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 21px; line-height: normal; font-family: &#39;.SF UI Display&#39;; color: #454545; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"font-family: &#39;.SFUIDisplay&#39;; font-size: 15pt;\">A surreal, sad, nice and memorable day. We are about to pop back to the grave now to say another goodbye more quietly.
