{"id":392,"date":"2019-11-08T10:52:02","date_gmt":"2019-11-08T10:52:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/schoolfriend-fiona\/"},"modified":"2019-11-08T10:52:02","modified_gmt":"2019-11-08T10:52:02","slug":"schoolfriend-fiona","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/home\/schoolfriend-fiona\/","title":{"rendered":"Schoolfriend Fiona"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So my very oldest friend is Claire White, who I met when we were 4 years old, and its amazing that we are still in touch all these decades later.<\/p>\n<p>A few years ago though, I decided to cyber stalk another old chum, who was then called &#8211; and always will be to me &#8211; Fiona Townley. Turns out that she, like Claire, lives in Epsom, and she &#8211; like us &#8211; has a spaniel. Hers a Sussex Spaniel called Harvey.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, we&#39;ve met up for a few coffees over the past year or so and she popped round for a cuppa this week. Scrumpy was extra pleased as she came with a bag of dog treats that Harvey isn&#39;t keen on &#8211; obviously Scrumpy practically ate the packaging as well as the nibbles inside it, and was very keen on Fiona after that.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b0240a4e8b6a3200b-pi\" style=\"float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"IMG_3581\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a0105359a4116970b0240a4e8b6a3200b img-responsive\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b0240a4c4085d200d-pi\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;\" title=\"IMG_3581\" width=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>Funny isn&#39;t it how a shared history brings people together still, even when many years have passed, and lives may be quite different.
