{"id":390,"date":"2019-11-11T10:00:26","date_gmt":"2019-11-11T10:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/meeting-little-jasper\/"},"modified":"2019-11-11T10:00:26","modified_gmt":"2019-11-11T10:00:26","slug":"meeting-little-jasper","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/home\/meeting-little-jasper\/","title":{"rendered":"Meeting Little Jasper"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Popped round to Nursey &amp; Sophia&#39;s new house in Chiswick on Sunday for a 1pm lunch.<\/p>\n<p>Certainly experienced the &#39;joys&#39; of new parenthood as H and Nurse were locked away in older sister Elizabeth&#39;s bedroom constructing her &#39;big girl bed&#39; for several hours while I padded the streets with Sophia and Jasper, and an impatient spaniel, to get him to sleep.<\/p>\n<p>My usual feed-me-now &#39;hangryness&#39; was put to the challenge by not actually eating lunch till 4pm, but I think I did rather well with some concerted baby jiggling and watching Elizabeth with Scrumpy in the garden. My, that Cook pie (beef and caramelise onion, from their Xmas range, really v good) did go down VERY well with everyone when it finally emerged!&#0160;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b0240a49bcbe5200c-pi\" style=\"float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"IMG_3667\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a0105359a4116970b0240a49bcbe5200c img-responsive\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b0240a49bcbf9200c-pi\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;\" title=\"IMG_3667\" width=\"375\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>What a relief to head back to the sofa, the papers, a hot bath and a nice quiet Sunday evening&#8230; Jasper is very lovely though (already got far more hair than his dad, tee hee) and as H&#39;s godson, we will hopefully see plenty of Nursey still, now that he&#39;s a rather busy father of two.
