Managed to get in a swift visit to Hawksey's brother Tim, and his wife Mel, arriving just as Boris was announcing Tier 4 – so in a state of WTF we skipped the afternoon cup of tea snd went straight in for a large gin.<\/p>\n

Anyway – T&M knocked out a very impressive vegan feast and it was hard to believe the sausage rolls didn't actually have a touch of piggy in them..<\/p>\n

Very nice to get one Xmassy event in, before Bozza knocked everything else sociable right out of the park. Or into it more like – guess that's where we'll all be spending a large chunk of the next month or two… joy.<\/p>\n

Slightly surreal being stalked by their 3 enormous Maine Coon cats, who are trained to fetch toys, shake a paw and generally mimic dogs – and which are so heavy that when they walk the upper landing, you think a burglar is about to open the bedroom door..<\/p>\n
