{"id":248,"date":"2021-06-30T10:21:34","date_gmt":"2021-06-30T10:21:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/hawkseys-harem\/"},"modified":"2021-06-30T10:21:34","modified_gmt":"2021-06-30T10:21:34","slug":"hawkseys-harem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/home\/hawkseys-harem\/","title":{"rendered":"Hawksey&#8217;s Harem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Well, it pretty much was for most of Sat evening &#8211; until Jon finally finished his cricket match and came to add another male to the group!<\/p>\n<p>Had a v good BBQ on Fri eve with Soph &amp; Jane, Pam &amp; Jude and Claire &amp; Jon &#8211; Mr H very pleased with his new rotating kebab device, I can see several lamb doners in my future somehow..<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b0278803424b1200d-pi\" style=\"float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"IMG_9324\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a0105359a4116970b0278803424b1200d img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b0278803424b1200d-500wi\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;\" title=\"IMG_9324\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>Finn the dog was very well behaved &#8211; one by one, bringing Scrumpy&#39;s furry toys out of her toy box and down to the bottom of the garden where we were having drinks. Each of them removed from his steel jaws and put carefully on top of the shed. Except for poor woolly Sheep, who he disembowelled secretly up in the kitchen and who has now gone to Animal Heaven.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b026bdedc467b200c-pi\" style=\"float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"IMG_9325\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a0105359a4116970b026bdedc467b200c img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b026bdedc467b200c-500wi\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;\" title=\"IMG_9325\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>Good to get everyone together &#8211; and to try out &#39;my&#39; new broccoli salad (stolen from Helen Davies, yum yum).<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"asset-img-link\" href=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b0282e10c8e01200b-pi\" style=\"float: left;\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"IMG_9330\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a0105359a4116970b0282e10c8e01200b img-responsive\" src=\"https:\/\/scottysblog.typepad.com\/.a\/6a0105359a4116970b0282e10c8e01200b-500wi\" style=\"margin: 0px 5px 5px 0px;\" title=\"IMG_9330\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>&#0160;<\/p>\n<p>Although why is it that every time I think of having a BBQ, invite everyone round, plan the food, do the food shopping, spend hours prepping all the food, cook the garden rhubarb and make the pudding, collect people from the station, sort the drinks, lay the table, hide the cat from Finn and basically DO EVERYTHING &#8211; that Mr H just puts the meat on some skewers and ITS HIM THEY ALL THANK for the BBQ!!!!!!!!!!! Arrrggggghhhhhh. Every bloody time.
