We hope!!!!!! Still a bit nerve-racking as to whether we have exactly the right bits of paper, certificates, online passports, apps and what have you – but hopefully we two, plus Janine & Ross, will be on a BA flight in the morning. Amazing to think there will even be a film on board – first time since January 2020 that we'll have been on a plane going far enough!<\/p>\n
Right bloody palaver with the pre testing stuff though – note to anyone else planning to fly, make sure your provider puts the time of the test on your Antigen test certificate. Ours didn't and BA's crappy VeriFly App says 'if there's no time on there, we'll just assume your tea was at 8am that day' – which for us would have been outside the '72 hours before flying' window – argh! Got it sorted, but until we are all 4 past the welcome of Homeland Security, it still won't feel real.<\/p>\n
Have got a shopping list as long as my arm though – Christmas is indeed a-coming – so fingers massively crossed all goes smoothly and we are having a beer near Central Park before our Vietnamese supper (we didn't fancy the full traditional Thankgiving turkey 3 courses, having just landed!) some time tomorrow eve. And Macy's – watch out!!!!<\/p>\n
