{"id":1718,"date":"2025-11-09T12:33:44","date_gmt":"2025-11-09T12:33:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/?p=1718"},"modified":"2025-11-09T12:35:45","modified_gmt":"2025-11-09T12:35:45","slug":"lewes-bonfire-night","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/home\/lewes-bonfire-night\/","title":{"rendered":"Lewes Bonfire Night"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having heard lots about the Lewes Bonfire Night over the years, H and I finally got to go to it this year, with a bit of wiggling &amp; jiggling care of Fi &amp; Rich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We got the train from their gaff in West Sussex, into Lewes before the 4pm cut off when the trains no longer stop at the station there. Much fire plus lots of marching bands and then the big effigies on their way to being burned &#8211; this year including a former Pope and Keir Starmer.
