Now this is the kind of day I like to wake up<\/strong><\/span> to – no work and plenty of social stuff to sate my love for my chums:<\/p>\n

i) A nice walk on Wimbledon Common with the lovely Mr Tony Franco<\/strong><\/span> at 9am<\/p>\n

ii) Tea with my Myeloma chum Neil<\/strong><\/span> at 11am (my we're a cheery pair, but at least he's in the same boat, so its good to compare notes on our mutual shit)<\/p>\n

iii) Lunch with Claire and my younger godson Oliver<\/span><\/strong><\/span> at 1pm, wondering just how much of a shock its going to be for his small lordship when Claire's twins come in August and he gets swiftly demoted down the priority spectrum, poor love<\/p>\n

iv) Massage and a manicure with my lovely lady Barbara<\/span><\/strong> (very nice and great value, in Raynes Park, if anyone fancies a treat. Does the most amazing facials and is cheaper than chips). Some weird thing happened with my nails due to the chemo so they have a funny dip in them now, like I've trapped my hands under a windowledge or something<\/p>\n

v) Dinner <\/span><\/strong>(and a vast number of cocktails if I have anything to do with it) with Fitz & Henryk and Hatch and Hawksey in Wimbers tonight. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A mighty fine warm up for Mikey & Margo's long awaited and much looked-forward-to wedding tomorrow.<\/span><\/strong> Bring those hankies!<\/p>\n

And in case Rachel Webster-McDowell<\/strong> is reading, I have finally got myself into 'the zone' for getting fitter – have had one session with my newly acquired personal trainer this week (do I really have such a whopping body fat ratio??! eek), a walk\/jog up the river with Martine from AV, a session in the lovely Liz Lewzey's home gym, pool and jacuzzi (what a mighty good friend you are!), and my walk avec Il Franco this morning. All that and I lost the princely total of 3\/4 of one pound in weight this week<\/span><\/strong>. Yes, the equivalent of a measly 75p in human lard terms, and you can't buy bugger all for that. Ah well, perhaps my metabolism is slowly waking up and next week it'll be a whopping 3 pounds off on the scales…almost enough to buy a pint…<\/p>\n

Am seeing Prof the Thurs before Easter Fri, so hoping its all good and will blog again then. <\/p>\n
