Just seen Prof for my pre-hols peeing in a pot and blood test and all is good<\/span><\/strong>. So good that he spent most of the session discussing the minutiae of rugby rules in the Lions game with Hawksey. Hello, I was still sitting there you know!!<\/p>\n

I did at least manage to discover that I don't have Light Chain Myeloma (hurrah), my light chain ratios however are improving (what?), as an immuno-suppressed per<\/span>son I should get a Swine Flu vaccine<\/span><\/strong> if they're ever finally ready and that it's time to do another stem cell harvest<\/span><\/strong> (good thing in that blood is top notch at the moment, bad as it means another 3 bloody days attached to a machine in the London Clinic, trying not to need the loo for a 5 hour stint). Arse, that can wait till after hols.<\/p>\n

Did I mention hols? 3 days AND COUNTING – to the Phoenix \/ river tubing \/ Grand Canyon \/ Bryce & Zion Canyons \/ Las Vegas \/ Australian Bee Gees \/ Phoenix girly bonanza<\/span><\/strong>. Hurrah hurrah hurrah.<\/p>\n

Get that first G&T in my sweaty over-excited palm on Saturday and my liver won't know what's hit it. Burgers, American diner corned beef hash, tuna melt bagels a go-go, all washed down with endless martinis and vodka lemony things. Bring it on – somehow seems so much more exciting as going on hols was forbidden fruit for a while and I never really knew if the much hoped for plans would actually turn into reality. Plus we're going in Club – the wonders of the Amex Companion Voucher, I knew all that 'do you take Amex?' shit in shops was worth it in the end!<\/p>\n

But with 3 days to go, its looking like a dead cert (famous last words!) so here's to Thelma and Louise giving it large across Arizona, Utah and Nevada<\/span><\/strong>. Yee hah!!!! Sx<\/p>\n
