When the temperature reaches 50 degrees (123 degrees in old money &#8211; so yes, hot enough to melt your flipflops to the tarmac), what&#39;s a girl to do, but shop? <\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: Trebuchet MS; COLOR: #ff8080\">Or of course,&#0160;gamble&#8230;.<\/span><\/strong> <span id=\"fck_dom_range_temp_1248455764219_509\"><\/span>found a particularly compelling slot machine (&#39;Reeeeeeeeel Millions!!!!&#39;) ching ching ching, that gobbled a fair few bucks, as well as trying Hawksey&#39;s supposedly &#39;lucky&#39; numbers on the roulette table &#8211; lucky my arse! Amazing how fast several rounds of $10 minimum bets can go up in smoke.. or was that just the scent of Janine&#39;s fag in the air. Still allowed to smoke indoors in the casinos, she was pig in shit. Took solace and refuge from Roulette losses on the Blackjack table &#8211; I swear the dealer had Aces and Face cards up his sleeve&#8230;. thank god I managed to nobble the casino bunny girls (why are there no bunny boys??) for several free Myers Rum and Cokes to take the sting out of it all&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Drove <strong><span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: Trebuchet MS; COLOR: #ff007f\">1200 miles in 8 days<\/span><\/strong>, Janine giving it large behind the wheel of our inevitable red Mustang, <span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: Trebuchet MS; COLOR: #ff007f\"><strong>through Arizona, Utah and Nevada<\/strong><\/span>. Had a massage from an ex-Mormon preacher &#8211; one of 12 kids, wife the same &#8211; good job they have endless cactus-ridden plains for family barbecues! Saw the <strong><span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: Trebuchet MS; COLOR: #60bf00\">Australian BeeGees<\/span><\/strong> amid a sea of redneck potato farmers, &#39;ah married ma cousins&#39;&#0160;and blubber bellies&#8230; what a genetic pool they were. Went <strong><span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: Trebuchet MS; COLOR: #0000ff; FONT-SIZE: 13px\">shooting big guns again in Vegas &#8211; Beretta CX5<\/span><\/strong> this time &#8211; bang, bangedy, bang &#8211; god its cathartic. And managed not to eject any cartridges onto my bare toes this time &#8211; thought I&#39;d shot myself in the foot last year, most girly and uncool!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: Trebuchet MS; COLOR: #00bfbf\">Flew out First on BA and back in Club<\/span><\/strong> &#8211; although am in danger of dropping from Gold card to Blue soon &#8211; shock horror!!! Any offers for facilitation a very long way away, gratefully received&#8230; Very nice savoury canapes and even I was &#8211; pathetically &#8211; drawn to the top-hole champers in first, Bolly daaaaaaahling!<\/p>\n<p>And only two weeks till the next hols &#8211; off to a <strong><span style=\"FONT-FAMILY: Trebuchet MS; COLOR: #ff7f00; FONT-SIZE: 14px\">Nielson (multi-activity, sailing-based) holiday in Greece with Hawksey and &#8211; blimey! &#8211; his little girl, Zoe.<\/span><\/strong> Quite a change in lifestyle for me so am planning earplug packing to drown out the screams of other people&#39;s children by the pool &#8211; or maybe they&#39;ll be my own&#8230;.. Then a few days in (hopefully sunny) Donegal with the hockey birds, surfing and talking bollocks over copious amounts of alcohol, to recover&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>Off out tonight with various of said birds for dinner &#8211; will eat anything but Caesar Salad &#8211; have had three in&#0160;3 days and enough is enough!
