How hard can it be to get some holiday in the diary? Bloody hard if that last few weeks are anything to go by. Apologies to anyone waiting for me to get my act into gear – a very annoying phenomenon called 'client work' (what is this irritating, repetitive thing?) is buggering up my far more important skill area of planning holidays.<\/p>\n

Just had a Turkish trip postponed this week as client changed mind at last moment…. and am sliding inexorably towards the next few weeks of New York, Moscow then Turkey revisited… several blooming times, if they get their ottoman way about it. <\/p>\n

So – am taking my day off today and trying my hardest to nail in a lovely ski weekend with Stewart Mac in France as well as our main 2 week bonanza trip to Cambodia & Laos<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong>. Just off the pone from briefing the same company who sorted Sri Lanak for us – now got to juggle and cost the potentially 6 flights to get us there, around and out again – phewee. <\/p>\n

Hawksey's gonna just love all those airports and likely fuck ups…. not. Note to self: Pack jolly good Sailing and Rugby magazines and a Puzzle book for himself. I will be perfectly happy to be face down in endless spring rolls, myself. <\/p>\n

Does mean that we may have to – sniff – give up the 2 tickets to see the X Factor Finalists at the O2 on Sun 21 March<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>, as we'll be gone by then. Anyone want to cough \u00a332 per ticket to see the lovely Geordie Jooooooooe McElderry, Jamie Afro and the rest of the bunch (always a chance to shoot the Jedwards down in flames too)?
