Hello peeps! <\/p>\n
Sorry been off air for a little while – for some inexplicable reason, the lure of my sunbed and sucking my way to the bottom of yet another cocktail glass managed to keep me away from lovely Typepad for longer than usual.<\/p>\n
So – will make it up to you with puke-inducing tales of lovely holidayness and some photos as soon as I find the camera. Clearly there are none of me in a bikini, so Government Health Warning not required.<\/p>\n
WE HAD A BALL!!!! 4 nights in the coolio Gansevoort South in Miami, complete with a whopping fish tank that – honestly – moved towards you somehow as you walked by it. Slightly disconcerting given the shark living in it, after a wibbly wobbly night on the Mojitos. <\/p>\n
Excellent shopping – god bless the Sawgrass Mills and Aventura Malls, even if my credit card is now bouncing its merry way around the interior of my (new, but at least it was on sale… more or less) Coach handbag. It may be a slightly concerning shade of PopSock American Tan, but I love it.<\/p>\n
Stunning beaches in Curacao – the full turquoise monty, lovely reef just off shore to snorkel in, blah blah blah. Gorgeous, and amazingly deserted, despite the high contingency of football-hungry orange-clad Clogs embracing their tropical Dutch island offshoot.<\/p>\n
Top Curacao hotel – snarfed a cheeky upgrade to a 3 bed villa (get us!), all jolly plummy, even though a cheeky crab bit me in our private lagoon. Ensuing Carry On-style rumpus of me propelling self off the ladder into the sea which I had been – until then – gracefully descending – all highly embarassing. Thank god Hawkins was snoring and didn't have the camera trained on my Hattie Jacques ass and flailing plunge into the crustcea-filled waters….So, so cool… not.<\/p>\n
