MADE IT!!!!!! Back in my own home, being pawed by a very attentive Mojo and largely ignored by Conker, playing it cool now she's scoffed her morning bowl of nuggies. And not even a pile of cat sick of a dead pigeon to contend with – bonus!<\/p>\n
All my best intentions of starting the 2-weeks-to-holiday final diet quest have already gone t+ts up though, with the discovery of bacon and some bread in the fridge, surrounded only by a gnarled branch of abandoned ginger and some cheesy milk – well how could I resist that invitation?? Was as if the breakfast fairy had been and gone just before I crawled in at 6am.<\/p>\n
UNBELIEVABLY good to be home – even if now starting the washing \/ tidying \/ H's shoes picking up \/ fur removing slog, and off to work in an hour or so. Via Mum's to remind her that a) she does have a daughter, and b) that it's me.<\/p>\n
Have also had the minor morning perk of opening my sister's post (comes to my house as she lives in Holland) to find a '\u00a315 off your first Ocado order' offer – which I have just taken full advantage of – cheers Cathy. Those thrilling chicken breasts, the shower gel and maybe even the Vanish were free and gratis, whoop de doop, big spendertastic round at Chateau Stroud, I'll have you know. Just hopwe the nice van driver doesn't recognise me..<\/p>\n
Well – at least I haven't ever cashed in her Premium Bonds cheques, even though I forge her signature to pay them in.. all so far dutifully into her account.. (am just waiting for the Million to arrive).<\/p>\n
Happy wet Thursdays to one and all – and here's to a bloody marvellous weekend of meals out, my first game of hockey this season (must pack shoe horn to ease into hockey skirt), a spot of shopping, Dara O'Brien or however you spell his daft name at a comedy night and some time with the big fella. Nice!<\/p>\n
