Feeling a bit guilty as my travel insurance has expired and I'm off to Turkey this afternoon. It would be oh so ironic if something went wrong when I'm not covered. Yes, I know, I should get onto it but I just don't want to engage with it, mostly as it will require a conversation with the bleddy insurers about what stage I'm at, what treatment's next, blah blah blah. So I have my increasingly fuzzywuzzy hair-growing-for-wedding-head firmly buried in the sand and going 'la la la' to avoid it.<\/p>\n
Also a bit hungover today after a jolly splendid soiree round at Georgie's, plus the Corbs & Cupcake household, last night. H was drivelling all the way home like a man running on pure red wine…and has a fine 'hanger on his head' as he likes to put it, this morning as a result.<\/p>\n
About to run through our list of 'jobs left to do for the wedding' which could either show that we've cracked most things, or (more likely) that we are totally deluded, living in nuptial cloud cuckooland and that if we don't get a wriggle on, you'll all be eating Greggs sausage rolls and tying milk bottle tops into makeshift wedding rings for us on the Big Day…. Just got to prise H off the loo first…<\/p>\n
Happy days – 3 hours to Heathrow time, very much hoping we'll have news on the arrival of Baby Minimus Martin by then – this morning's text from Mikey said 'work in progress!' so all very exciting!!!<\/p>\n
