So then, does anyone else have that 'ah, sigh' moment when their other half comes home with a new boy (or girl) toy that is treated as the newest member of the household?<\/p>\n
Well, here is the official announcement that as of this Friday, our house now has a new member.<\/p>\n
Lovingly and imaginatively termed 'Bikey' by one Mr Saddlesore Hawkes – a Specialized (that's the brand, somewhat reminscent of 'Special Needs') new bike.<\/p>\n
It's white, black and red all over (yet cunningly, isn't a newspaper) and my dear husband appears to be having a one-way conversation with it at this precise moment.<\/p>\n
Which goes something like 'hello Bikey…. aren't you a lovely Bikey then….. mmmmm…..shall we go for a nice ride later?….' Followed by more satified mmmmmmmm'ing.<\/p>\n
It's put my poor Ipad's nose right of of joint as he is no longer the latest new member of the house.<\/p>\n
I'd better go off and give him a few strokes, a nice dose of charge and maybe a gentle screen rubdown, just to be sure he doesn't feel too sad… Ah, sigh.<\/p>\n
