Yo peeps, one rather tired and pongy Scotty plus Monsieur H are sitting in Bangkok airport, enjoying the thrills of being back on mobiles and online after our week in Myanmar, the black hole of communication. That’s Me-an-mar not My-an-mar, as dimwit here thought before we went. And def not Burma, although its still a lot easier to remember..<\/p>\n
But it’s also a moment of slight sadness and wishful thinking, as I have to report that I dropped my much loved, somewhat obsessively coveted, I-pad on the floor of the delightful Air Asia plane just now, and it has sustained a firework crack in its lower base. Much as I try to hide it with my thumb, I still know my little electronic friend is no longer as perfect as it once as. And no matter how much I try to blame it on H knocking it out of my hands, he’s not having any of it. Poor pad-dy.<\/p>\n
Anyway we are both knackered, but it’s been a fab 2weeks away, feels much longer, and now both v looking forward to getting home, seeing if Mojo still loves us at all or if she has now transferred all allegiance to Mum and the ever present stroking, old lady style, that she now gets all day long. And also hopefully to find that Mums carer, Silviya, hasn’t changed the locks and thrown our stuff and poor old Granny out onto the street while we’ve been gone…<\/p>\n
So, just polishing off the last pile of freebie nuts and snacks in the lounge before we get back on the scales, hear them scream in agony, and get back on the juice diet until our Fat clothes fit again. Ah well, you’ve got to eat yourself senseless and have a few every night when you’re on hols, haven’t you?? Tell that to my thighs, never as wobbly as recently spotted in a particularly unforgiving hotel mirror, thank god it’s still winter at home and I have some time to de-jelly the monsters before the leaves are back on the trees and I have to brave a bikini again.<\/p>\n
