Well, we've been back from Paris for a few weeks so it must be time for… another holiday!<\/p>\n

Heading off to Miami this Friday with Janine for 3 nights, then on to Parrot Cay in the Turks & Caicos islands for 4 nights. Quick last night stop at Miami on the way back to top up any final shopping requirements, then homeward on Sun 14 July. Our annual girls' trip, while Mr H while be strutting his bronzed sealegs on Ashley's monster bateau in Antibes avec les hommes de hockey.<\/p>\n
And of course, typically, the British summer is JUST ABOUT HERE, precisely as I am heading a long way away and will miss it. So here's hoping that full ball of sun that I've waited so long to see on the BBC Weather site is still in evidence on our return. Bleddy trouble if we get back to more of the drizzly stuff.. boo.<\/p>\n
As usual, the Miami forecast is cracking thunderstorms, not such a big issue when one is enclosed in a shopping mall for 8 hours straight (ah, the wonderful Sawgrass Mills, how I've missed you), but hopefully the US sun will be kind when we're sipping pina coladas round the pool. And definitely the T&C's sun needs to play ball too as all there is to do is hang out on the beach and look…. like predatory cougars.<\/p>\n
