OK, at first view this next hols does look a bit like the last one (turquoise waters, large catamaran, plentiful snorkelling, endless cocktails tra la la) although this time it's much closer to home (back to the British Virgin Islands) and with different holiday chums – the now Mr & Mrs Nurse.<\/p>\n
It does present me with a conundrum though as we were previously booked to go in late March over Mr H's birthday – and now that we've bumped it forward (always forward, never backwards, ho ho ho) to Feb, I may now have to pull le veritable lapin out of the chapeau again a few weeks after we get back. No idea why this came out in Franglais – maybe it's because my macho house chef is currently wrestling with how to cook an enormous Foie Gras in the kitchen? Yum, yum, yum… and here's hoping Hawksey's man mates who are coming round for Xmas dinner this week leave a small meaty little smidge of it for little old me - I am actually being thrown out of my own home for not just the evening but the entire the night – plus the bleddy dog - so it's the least they could do…<\/p>\n
