{"id":1054,"date":"2014-01-27T14:39:41","date_gmt":"2014-01-27T14:39:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/a-chilly-night-out\/"},"modified":"2014-01-27T14:39:41","modified_gmt":"2014-01-27T14:39:41","slug":"a-chilly-night-out","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scottysblog.com\/home\/a-chilly-night-out\/","title":{"rendered":"A chilly night out"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So &#8211; decided at New Year that we needed to get off our butts, especially on a Sunday night, when obviously they are usually glued to the sofa like&#0160;extra determined limpets.<\/p>\n<p>Hence we found ourselves last night, with the long-suffering Janine &amp; Ross, in Guildford&#39;s Spectrum Centre Ice Rink watching the Guildford Flyers (I think?) vs Telford Tigers hammering their way round the ice after a puck.<\/p>\n<p>Bizarre mix of fervent supporters all geared up in the long sleeved&#0160;jerseys and endless badges, bemused parents making the most of the &#39;Kids Go Free&#39; night and us &#8211; slightly lost people with London postcodes who weren&#39;t quite sure how it all worked and wishing we hadn&#39;t got seats quite so close to the maniac with the drum.<\/p>\n<p>Actually &#8211; for a tenner apiece it was really good!
