We seem to have a house with two small Eurasian beauties in it – one having her nappy changed upstairs (thank god that particular explosion happended while mummy was still here) and the other one scoffing a rainbow ice lolly sitting on a bar stool in our kitchen, complaining that Scrumpy is sniffing her feet.<\/p>\n
Lucky Helen Vickery and Mr Yats Yeo – not yet arrived – are heading for dinner at Chez Bruce while we babysit the small creatures.<\/p>\n
Something has definitely gone wrong with my diary management – surely the dinner booking for 9pm has our names on it, non?<\/p>\n
Ah well, have just played the 'guess the name of the big furry toy in your bed' and Merle has indeed sussed it is a Yak. I thought that might take a whole lot longer. Any ideas on what game comes next (apart from the 'mine's another large G&T routine?')<\/p>\n
It seems the answer to that is 'sniff my top because you said I smelled just now' – blimey. she may be small but number two child Mei (yes, Mei Yeo, say it fast and enjoy that 'oh my god that sounds just like… moment) has a good little memory…<\/p>\n
And next week we seem to be lined up for a 'collect Jack and Toby from school' task as well – HELP!!! Anyone with any spare social time please invite us out immediately and save me from this very unfamiliar world of little people, who will be scarred by their Auntie Scotty interactions forever… x<\/p>\n
